It was her prized piece of paraphernalia. And when the bong was shattered during a fight with her mother before school, the 17-year-old Omaha girl was not just mildly upset. No, she blew a gasket and began smearing yogurt.

The dairy disturbance on April 23 was prompted when the girl’s mother attempted to destroy the glass bong.
The girl tried to restrain her mother from damaging the marijuana accessory, according to an Omaha police report. In the tussle, it dropped and broke.

The girl fumed. She punched her mother in the stomach and threw pieces of the bong at her, according to the report. She then distributed yogurt across her mother’s sport utility vehicle, screaming as she did.

As a police officer arrested the girl, she tried to kick him in the groin. The girl, ticketed on suspicion of misdemeanor assault, was taken to Immanuel Medical Center.

Burger Joint: Customer Finds Half-Smoked Blunt in Wendy’s Cheeseburger

A Georgia woman has been fired from a fast food joint after a customer found an unexpected topping in her cheeseburger: a half-smoked marijuana cigarette. Amy Seiber, 32, is no longer an employee at Wendy’s Lovejoy store after admitting to police that she ‘misplaced’ the joint inside a burger – after smoking half of it at work.

The customer Shalon Travis, 39, called police after discovering the marijuana in her burger, placed right on top of the pickle. The police report states that Travis had picked up a Wendy’s single cheeseburger combo from the drive-through window of the 11121 Tara Boulevard Wendy’s around 10:30 pm November 1.

‘Upon arrival at home, she took her food out of the bag and noticed a strange odor in her hamburger,’ Officer Gaddis told the Atlanta Constitution-Journal. ‘When she opened it, she discovered a partially smoked marijuana cigarette.’ She was admitted to hospital after suffering symptoms similar to food poisoning.

According to TMZ, Seiber owned up to the marijuana mishap as soon as police arrived at the Lovejoy Wendy’s. She was arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

The customer told TMZ that the Wendy’s franchise offered to help with Travis’ medical bills. ‘Obviously the employee broke the rules and did not follow proper food handling steps… We are deeply sorry that this incident occurred,’ a Wendy’s spokesperson told TMZ. The company also provided the customer with a $50 gift certificate for Wendy’s, though after her last experience it’s unclear if she plans to use it. Seiber was able to bond out of the Clayton County Jail.

South Street mainstay Jim’s Steaks gets the sandwiches right, but it can’t quite seem to keep the cops from storming through the door with drug warrants. Tuesday night, for the second time since August, police served a narcotics warrant at Jim’s, busted an employee for his alleged involvement and confiscated drugs, police sources said.

At the steak shop, on South Street near 4th, and at a house on Dickinson Street near 20th, where a second warrant connected to the bust was served, police confiscated marijuana, drug paraphernalia, pills and cash. Police also arrested a 55-year-old cook while he worked at Jim’s on Tuesday night. He was identified Wednesday as Nathaniel Danny Cyrus, of Dickinson Street near 20th in Point Breeze. His bail was set at $10,000.

In August, cops nabbed a manager at the steak joint, Andre McMillian, 48, during another bust. In that raid, narcotics officers confiscated cocaine, marijuana, 272 Percocet pills, 95 Xanax pills, 21 Endocet pills and $2,400 cash — all with an estimated street value of $25,300. That case is pending.

The shop’s owners said at the time that they had no knowledge of the alleged drug activity.
