Man Gets High Inside Supermarket With Stolen Whipped Cream

Reddi_Wip_Whip_Whipped_Cream_CanDERRY — A 39-year-old Derry man who was huffing stolen whipped cream cans in a supermarket was arrested on Monday.

Robert Johnson, of 19 Fairway Drive Apt. 30, has been charged theft and inhaling toxic vapors for effect.

Johnson entered the Derry Hannaford Supermarket on Rockingham Road on Jan. 30 and began huffing the whipped cream cans inside the store, according to Lt. Barry Charewicz.

Police put out a warrant for his arrest and he turned himself in on Monday. He has been released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on April 22.
